The four curved legs of the table is stretched by two bamboo rod frames. The structure of the rectangular top is identical with that of the stretcher shelves, though it is slightly bigger. The ends of the bamboo rods are muffed with metal, the majolica plates are decorated with polychrome flowers. In Europe, the use or imitation of bamboo was one of the orientalistic traits of the stylistic pluralism in the second half of the 19th century it was almost an independent stylistic variant within the eclecticism of the 1870s and 80s.
