The prismatic plinth of cut corners stands on four bun feet with ribbed sides. The rim of the plinth is decorated with serrated leaves. The bowl with fluted leaf motifs forms half an egg it is flanked by two herms with faun heads. The lid has a jointed rim, surmounted by a frieze-like leaf decoration, arranged in semicircular curves. The middle of the lid is domed and ribbed its finial is enriches with berry and leaf motifs. There is a town and a maker's mark impressed on the bottom of the foot.
