Decorated with two coats of arms in an architectural framework. The left one is that of the Escher von Greifensee family from Zürich, to the right the coat of arms of the Meiss von Teufen family is to be seen.

In the left and right bottom corners there are allegorical female figures, one holding an open book and a key (Grammatica) the other holding a caduceus (Rhetorica). Between them is a cartouche with the inscription: Hans Caspar Escher Fendrich und Hans Friderich Meiss - 1608.
