Shield-shaped ladle with an engraved and gilt escutcheon at the join of the handle. There is a crest, a mortar, and the letters IG engraved on it (probably referring to the guild of bronze casters). The handle is Renaissance, baluster-shaped with a double division. The finial is a ringed ball. The reverse of the ladle is chased with the inscription GS or G5.
