The six sides of the flagon are divided into oval fields by chain decoration. In the fields there are alternating motifs of double eagles, flowers springing from a vase and fruit bowls. The chain motifs extend towards the top, and are surmounted by a vase with a bunch of flowers. The screwed pewter cap is engraved with the inscription 16 M... 16.
