Shape of a prism, with curving corners, on a round base. The herms on the edges join the oval chain decoration of the bowl. These oval fields contain scenes, set among stylized floral decoration with mask. On opposite sides are Pyramus and Thisbe, while the remaining surfaces depict a Pope with Mary and Child, and the Annunciation.
