A rectangular shape with cut edges. On the cover is a medallion of a painted enamel picture, placed in an oval frame, a mother with her two children standing in front of an architectural scene with columns. The sides of the box are decorated with repousse bunches of flowers in oval or circular fields, made of silver and gold of two colours. The rest of the surface is engraved. An authenticity mark impressed on the inside of the cover and the box, with the initials INM engraved four times beside the mark.
