The cover of the kidney-shaped box is decorated with a mythological scene in a rocaille frame: a lying nymph, dallying with Bacchus. The folding cover has a parchment inside, with an elaborately painted miniature: the portrait of a lady in rococo clothes. Her hair and dress are decorated with small, pink flowers.
