The round casket slightly bulges at the middle its cover opens on hinges. There is a photo of Prince Rudolph, the successor to the throne, taken in gala uniform. The photo is in a claw setting, enclosed by a row of balls and covered with glass. There is a small crown at the middle of the rim, which serves as the opening peg. The side of the lower part is constructed of a pierced laurel wreath. There is an R initial in a shield, just below the crown peg. The three feet of the casket is shaped of complicated, plaited foliage. The inside is lined with green silk.
