On the sheet trimming, vertical and diagonal flower bushes are lined up, one next to the other. On the middle stalks of the two types of symmetrical flower bushes springing from a heart, as well as on their swirling stalks leaning to two directions are pomegranates between the stalks serrated leaves lean out the stalks are decorated with small pins. The structure of the embroidery – symmetric flower bushes placed one next to another and their motifs, the serrated leaves of the bushes and the pomegranates are all of Turkish style. The pomegranates surrounded by two serrated leaves on the bottom became known in Hungary as the border patterns of Persian and Turkish carpets. The mature, perfect lines of the embroidery and the perfect execution tell us about a professional embroiderer. A simpler, later version of the pattern is seen on one of the 19th century sheet borders of the Museum of Applied Arts.
