Sofa: it stands on four curved feet. The vesica-shaped seat is placed on a frieze with leaf and shell decoration. The wavy back and arm support surrounds the seat on three sides, rising at one side it is divided into three large upholstered fields. The wooden frame is decorated with shells and plants.

Armchair: it stands on four curved, scrolling legs. The relatively low, wavy back support is pierced with shells and scrolls. The seat is broader at the front the curved arm support joins it in a scroll. Newer upholstery of striped velvet.

Bergere: The semicircular seat has a wavy curve at the front and is supported by curvy, carved legs. The back encloses the upholstered seat on three sides: it is low on the sides and rising in a curve at the back. The upholstery is identical with that of the above.
Footrest: The rectangular, stuffed frame is supported by four shore, scrolling, curved feet. The upholstery is identical with that of the above.

Stool: The four curved legs are joint by a diagonal stretcher, decorated with a rose in the centre. The seat rail is richly carved with shell, scroll and cartouche motifs. With newer upholstery.

Chair: The wavy seat rail is supported by four curved, scrolling legs. The seat is trapezoid, elongated, with a short back. Newer upholstery of striped velvet.

Archive photos about the suit can be found in the Archives Department of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts: Fit 5894, 5934, 5936, 6049. Since in 1891 the F.O.Schmidt company moved to its new plant at 28 Wahringer Strasse - where it still is today - and the furniture described above had probably been made in the older, Rotenturmstrasse plant therefore, they must have been manufactured before 1891. The pieces belonged to the furniture of the palace of Judge Kornel Emmer, at 14 Fö Street, Budapest.
