The wavy rim of the oval dish is lined with roses on a gold base. The surface is painted with a city landscape with a baptismal chapel, in an elliptical field, enframed by golden beads. There is an inscription on the bottom „Fonts Baptismaux” and the crowned marking of the Petersburg factory, forming the initials of Czarin Katherine II, in blue under glaze.
