The geometrical pattern of alternating rows of squares standing on their tip covers the whole surface. In one row, there are chequered squares containing a rosette. The tips of the square end in hooks, and each side is enriched with a rosette. The other row consists of lobed leaf motifs enclosing a rosette, composed in a square. Its fourteenth century Spanish (?) model is illustrated in Fischbach 1874 plate 128/B.
