The boat-shaped, oval bowl with a high spout and a lobed handle stands on a short, oval foot. The border is decorated with a naturally coloured, horizontal, pink rose wreath against a golden base, in a golden frame. The handle is lined with gold, and is decorated with a stylized line of leaves. The front of the bowl shows an oval field in a lined frame among golden boughs, with the landscape of the Quirinale palace of Rome.
