The bowl stands on four voluted feet the two spout-like ends have a curved rim, with a moulded acanthus leaf below. The outside is painted with Indian flowers in iron-red, cobalt, green and yellow, as well as imaginary oriental animals and butterflies. The inside surface of the boat-like bowl is decorated with similar motifs and colours. Marked with an impressed shield.
