A huge, stylized birch tree, contoured with brown, against a neutral base. The bottom border shows a red inscription in capital letters: MARÓTI / POLDI (Maróti's wife, Leopoldina Fritz) / PUCZI (Maróti's daughter, Dóra). GÉZA / PIM, and two stemmed cups. The model of this carpet, a watercolour design entitled «Birch» can be found in the Museo Suomen Rakennustaiteen (Helsinki).
