The bottom part is inscribed with “KUTASI RADISICS JENŐNEK AZ ORSZ. MAGYAR IPARMŰVÉSZETI MÚZEUM TISZTVISELŐI 1881-1911” (for Jenő Radisics of Kutas, from the officers of the National Hungarian Museum of Applied Arts). The inscription is surmounted by a bearded male portrait, looking to the left. Jenő Radisics (1856-1917) was the director of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts from 1896 until 1918. This plaque commemorated his thirty years of service. He received the original cast bronze copy, but smaller, struck copies were also made for those who respected him. (see Magyar Iparművészet Vol. 14, 1911, p.249 and p.233. ill. 205)
