The bottom field is inscribed with ’’CZIGLER GYŐZŐ 1850-1905”. The inscription is surmounted by the bearded bust of Czigler, looking to the right. Czigler was the founding member of the Hungarian Society for Applied Arts - the plaque was made in the year of his death. Another copy with a back is mentioned in Huszár-Procopius 1932 No. 1081. The inventory number of the copy in the Hungarian National Museum is (without date) É.N.73.A./911.
