The spherical bowl stands on a curved base it has a long, narrow neck and a divided upper rim. The lip is enclosed by a loop, and the handle fits to the neck and the bowl. Horizontal blue stripes decorate the parts below the bulge, on the neck and on the upper rim. The neck is also painted with lines of stylized leaves. Both sides of the handle are decorated with vertical waves, in a field enclosed by blue stripes. The loop of the lip and the handle have blue striped decoration. The colours are blue, manganese, turquoise and yellow on an ivory base. There is a Norman shield, per fess, with an argent chief and a barry base of three yellow and four mangane bars. A T mark appears in an upturned drop shape under the handle.
