The bulging bucket stands on four curved feet and narrows slightly at the neck. The two round handles start from the plain, splaying top rim. The surface is decorated with ornaments in a curved frame: a landscape with a low horizon (mountains with castle ruins, large water surfaces with a steamship and a sailboat), with the rising sun in the centre and vines at the front. The front side is decorated with a similar landscape, but with the bust of a bearded man wearing a vine wreath (Bacchus?), holding a wine cup in one hand and a shovel in the other. A billowing gown covers his naked body.
