Pharmacy jar

Four jointed ball feet, enriched with Anjou lilies, support the rectangular plinth of a wavy edge. The plinth has a repousse frame at the bottom surmounted by horse figures ending in winged fishtails on the corners, connected with war emblems enclosed by bay garlands. Four geniuses sit on the four corners of the casket its sides are enriched with foliage and painted with mythological topics, apotheosis illustrations - which were popular in the Baroque age - in enamel, surrounded by a cartouche frame made of foilage. The jointed cover shows relief cupids. The rim of the inside is also lined with foliage the casket is lined with red velvet.
