The cylindrical bowl, swelling at the top and bottom, stands on a short splayed base and has a splayed upper rim. The cover is rimmed and hemispherical the ball finial is a replacement. The base, the upper rim and the upper border are decorated with yellow and orange stripes the surface itself is painted with tropheas. On one side is a naked female figure with flowing hair holding a gown and standing on a dolphin. This probably represents Fortuna marina. The picture is set in a medallion. Painted in black, brown, blue, green, yellow and white on an ivory background. The lower swelling part of the bowl shows an inscription in a rectangular field, painted in blue: DIARODO. ABSI. Dated 1580 an a scroll on the cover of piece.

The counterpiece (Inv.Nr. 4415.) shows the inscription V. DA OCHI.
