The deep surface is lined by a narrow, rising, lobed rim. The middle shows a round landscape, enclosed by golden beads: a chapel, in front of a background of ruins, there is an inscription, written in black, above glaze, below the picture: Ancient Temple, Aujourd'hui Eglise de S. George. Marked in blue underglaze, with the marking of the Saint Petersburg factory.
