The foot ring is plain, conical. The extremely large pear-shaped body is outstanding both in moulding and firing it has a finely curved neck and a splaying to rim. It was placed right on the ground or on a short plinth to decorate representative interiours. A separate metal case was put through the broad top to hold the flowers. The whole surface is decorated with hand-painting. The motifs are lofty and elegant the abstract Baroque-like ornaments are combined with finely detailed, slightly stylised natural motifs in an original and tasteful way. The foot is decorated with a frieze. Four symmetrical ornaments spring up from the border stripes -lisenes - of the bottom simple motifs of acanthus leaves, pomegranates and blossoming tendrils alternate with more complicated ones. At the top of the vase there are scattered bees, painted in gold, slightly relief. The background is greyish-blue, the painting under glaze consists of two shades of blue without the painting, the body itself is white. The pomegranates, flowers and leaves are contoured with shaded yellow enamel overglaze.
