Ornamental plate

The round plate has a pierced rim of leaved tendrils alternating with lozenge and pretzel motifs. The centre shows the portrait of the young Francis Joseph, in profile, place in a circle enclosed by repousse leaves. This circle is enframed with pierced arcades. An analogous piece can be found in the Hungarian National Museum.
