The glass slightly different from the traditional Ranftbecher type of Kothgasser's glasses: the foot is less protruding, and thus does not seem to be separate from the splayed glass. The middle of the foot is decorated with silver varnished and faceted star motifs, while the surface of the glass is painted with a greenish-brown trefoil, with a brown-lilac cross, heart and anchor in its leaves. The top rim is lined with a silver varnished stripe and gilt, stylised, flowery boughs. There is a broad stripe of similar technique, framed with gold, showing squares and rosettes, along the foot. An inscription in German minuscules appears between the trefoil and the two stripes: Mag um uns her ein strenges Schicksal walten, Wir folgen euch ihr hoehren Lichtgestalten.
