The bodice is attenuated and stiffened by fish-bones, has a V-neckline and closes with buttons at the front. The sleeves are set in, reaching to the elbows. The bodice comes down in a rectangular shape at the front and in a V-shape at the back the latter part is ruffled and pulled down by weights. The two sides of the button-line are made of dark red silk satin the same fabric was used for the shawl collar and the serrated ornament decorating the décolletage. The sleeves, the front and the neckline are embroidered with beads on a tulle base: shell motifs of different white beads with black contour and yellow bead fringes. The skirt consists of four parts: the petticoat of dark red calico is trimmed with lobed satin stripes the skirt is made of dark red satin followed by a velvet drapery, covering the hips, which is ruffled at the two sides and decorated with braiding fringes at the bottom. A special tournure of striped velvet is fixed to the back, ruffled in zigzag lines.
