Night stand: the standing, prismatic stand with a door and a drawer is supported by four turned feet. Its pilasters end in roses. The corners of the marble top are rounded. The back is curved, decorated with a set-in oval panel and a floral garland. There is a console shelf in the middle. The KS KATHARINA STAMER inscription in the middle of the back refers to the original owner.

This bedroom suite was the dowry of Katharina Stamer, the great-grandmother of the ethnologist Mrs. J. Dajaszászy nee Vilma Dietz. The suite of a Saxon middle-class family from Temesvár is a typical example for the furnishing taste of the period and at the same time a forerunner of a type that became popular and widely used in the twentieth century.
