Both the form and the decoration of the necklace recall Baroque jewels it consists of thirteen identical parts: all are oval, pierced rosettes, and connected with smaller, rosette pieces. The reverse of twelve is enriched with four repousse, stylised male heads, arranged ray-like. The clasp is also pierced, with palmets. The whole surface is set with precious stones: there are four small rubies in the corners and a pearl in the middle.
