The portrait shows a young man with a moustache and a beard he wears a black coat, waistcoat and tie. The person was identified with Count Moric Almassy or Janos Lonyai in earlier literature. On the basis of authentic portraits, the latter can be excluded yet the identification can still not be definitively proved, despite the great similarity. The folding leather case of the miniature is decorated with stamped, historical motifs.
