The body slightly curves upwards. The two longer sides are decorated with rows of foliage the rim are lined with strings of pearls and enriched with six amber medallions in the pierced foliate carving. The medallions show dog heads in high relief. Behind the carved rim, in the pierced foliate carving, there are two small amber medallions depict horse heads in high relief. The front of the body shows a lively group of statues: two horse herds driving six galloping, rampant horses, some of which are looking back. The clothes of the two moustached horse herds are the following: loose trousers, shirt, a short lambskin dolman thrown over the shoulders, hat. One holds a whip, the other smokes a special Hungarian pipe. There are carved plants, grass under the horses. Two horse heads hide among the rich foliage on the flatter, carved amber mouthpiece. The gilt metal setting is enriched with four flower stems, each inlaid with three red garnets and blue enamel.
