Mária Minya Munkácsy and Gádor award-winning ceramic artist is a significant member of contemporary Hungarian ceramic art, in addition to her industrial designer career and artistic activities, Minya also has timeless merits in education. The plaster model and 1:1 scale model of the glazed ceramic wall made in 1980 for the diagnostic building of the Kecskemét County Hospital (architect: Miklós Marosi, interior designer: Margit Köhler) can be linked to her architectural ceramic and public work, which was not part of our collection earlier. Mária Minya was inspired by the structure of human tissues when designing the large-scale wall covering built from elements.
