The lunette shows putti sitting on the back of dolphins, with the Almighty appearing in a lunette above them, sitting on his throne. His right hand is raised in blessing on his left knee he holds the globe, the symbol of the world. The lunette is flanked by carved pilasters. Above him in the backgound panel is a winged putto, among rosettes and four petalled flowers. On top of the arched upper cornice are three sleeping putti. In earlier inventories of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts this piece is described as "fragment of a furniture, cornice, Italian, 16th century, probably part of a bed-head". A similar piece is referred to by Dr. Alfred Schadler (Munich), as being the tomb of Father Jean de Coromeus, made in 1525. It was found in the St. James Abbey in Liege and is now exhibited in the Musée du Louvre in Paris (Inv.No.R.F.560).
