The uncoloured silk leaf is divided up by three oval medallions, between which there are little pictures hung from festoons and surrounded by classicist-type motifs. The festoons and the frames of the medallions are embellished with spangles. The medallions depict idyllic love scenes, beneath one of which is an inscription. In the middle a young girl cuts letters into the trunk of a tree. Another young girl, whose young man is holding her around the waist, watches her work. The inscription reads: Prosa wird ihrer Einsamkeit belauscht = Prose will warm in solitude. On the left, in front of a garden seat, can be seen a couple locked in an embrace the inscription is: Die glücklichsten Stunden = The happiest hours. On the right there is a female figure bidding her lover farewell in the background is the man's saddled horse. The inscription: Der zierliche Abschied = The delightful farewell. In the two small oval paintings hanging from the festoons there is a male and figure respectively in those on the far right and far left there is a bird. On the sticks there is leaf and festoon ornamentation.
