The bamboo rods are joint tent-like, stretched by bamboo rails. There is a narrower bamboo shelf above the stretcher, which, at the front and back, supports majolica plates in bamboo frames. The plates came be folded and are equipped with metal chains in order to prevent tilting over. The majolica is decorated with a butterfly, bees and a bough of wild roses. 1 (4)h798, a series number or the mark of the painter painted by hand under glaze at the bottom. The portable stand is constructed of shod bamboo rods. At the end of the 19th century, bamboo furniture was available in Budapest at Gröber's. His shop was in the Haris Bazaar, at 4 Koronaherceg (today Sándor Petőfi) street.
