Both sides of the binding have renaissance deco-ration of the same pattern. In the middle of the panel framed by four rolls with different decorations of scroll foliage and flowers are on the front the initials IHS, on the rear side the inscription "Maria", in the corners of the central field four pomegranates punched with embossing press. The only decoration of its spine of four ribs is the braided pattern pressed onto the stems of the spine. The headband is made of white cotton thread. The title page of the second edition is en-graved by the German Tobias Bidenharter, slightly changing the original. The architectural structure of two levelled niches and the figures of Hungarian saints in them have remained unchanged, but instead of closing the composition with an aedicule, two holy bishops are standing beside the picture of the virgin set in a medallion, surrounded with adoring angels. A kneeling angel is holding the coat-of-arms of Hungary and Peter Pazmany on the basis of the edifice. The title is pressed with cursive letters in the oval label. The title page of the work of Pazmany demonstrates all the figures which later have become the permanent parts of the works made in the spirit of the Counter-Reformation.
