The binding of the Hebrew Haggadah, printed in Hebrew script, is gilded with delicate stamps its so called “a la fanfare” decorated bindings are framed with recurring tendrils these flower and leaf motifs are sectioned with cordon plies. The use of spiral fanfare-shaped stamps and the cordon ply lead through the entire board is characteristic of the style that evolved and was favoured in the early seventeenth century. In the middle of both boards the name of the owner can be read on the front one Joseph Modon, on the back one Joseph Bahan (?). Its six-banded back is decorated with tendril ornament. It can be closed with four copper buckles.
