Paper plates bound in white parchment. The front surface shows a blue field, bordered with a blue-painted stripe with curved stamps. There is a medallion in each corner, showing a gilt portrait and leaves. The middle of the surface shows an oval field, enframed with gilt, with stylised flowers. The field is painted with the figure of a young woman in white, leaning on a stone plinth. The picture is surmounted by gilt K - E initials, and dated 1814 below. The decoration of the back plate is identical with that of the front one, having an oval field that shows a woman playing the clavicord, with a small child sitting beside her. The saddle of the book is painted pink, richly gilt with marbled ornaments. Blue and pink endpapers with yellow and black marbling. The binding is a rare piece, representing a late Classicist style of painted parchment bindings from Debrecen.
