The statuette portrays the Prussian king standing on a prismatic, terraced plinth, wearing a uniform, and a typical French shako. He rests his left hand on his hip and holds a walking stick in his right, marked in cursives on the plinth: MUNKATS. The model was made by a French- born sculptor, Pierre Devaranne, around 1820, in the foundry of Sayn, Germany. It was brought to Munkacs in 1834, by Valentin Willaschek, a German sculptor, where it was copied up to 1843. The companion piece of Cat.No. 3.77.
