The bottom cornice is decorated with fan motifs. On the front panel is a so-called "cabochon" decoration among scroll motifs. It is encircled by a foliate grotesque in a rectangular inlay, which is flanked by two herms springing from leaves on each side. The scroll decoration is composed of voluted ribbon motifs, and was a typical Renaissance relief ornament of the 16-17th century.
