Pear-shaped bowl, fluted. The base has a gilt band engraved with palmettes. The knobbed lid is fixed to the handle it has a flattened dome shape and is made of silver-gilt. The double pointed turning knob is with leaf decoration. The lid is marked with a Nuremberg mark and an illegible maker's sign.
