The cylindrical bowl stands on three feet, equip-ped with a curved spout and a rising handle that ends in a leaf motif. The handle, the spout and the feet are gilt. There is a painted mythological scene opposite the handle: sleeping Venus, with a peeping satyr. The dominant colours of the painted ornaments are: red, blue and pink. Marked on the bottom, in blue under glaze, with the marking of the Viennese factory. There is an inscription: Venus wird von Satyr belauscht on the bottom, painted in black, over glaze. The finial of the lid is a gilt pine.
