The richly decorated, Neo-Renaissance stove stands on a glazed plinth supported by four bun feet. The rectangular, broad bottom conceals drawers with circle decoration, in three rows. The upper part is prismatic, with columned caryatids on the corners. Above the row of drawers, there are inlays with indented compartments that contain moulded bunches of flowers in vases. The stove closes with a dome, which is decorated with imitation tiles, and originally with a pine cresting. The main parts are divided by richly decorated, curved, frieze-like corniches. The elements are painted in yellow, green, brown majolica glazes in different shades. The most colourful of the ornamnets is the bunch.
Vilmos Zsolnay started regular stove-production in 1885. In the Stove pattern book 1, which is now in the Janus Pannonius Museum of Pecs (Inv.No. 1437.1-81), the elements of No. 6 can be identified with the piece described above and erected on the ground floor of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts.
