The ball-shaped body is flattened on the four sides it has a high foot, a cylindrical neck, a spouted top rim and a pewter lid. The four sides are decorated with medallions enframed by pearls, with inscriptions in Gothic letters:

The other parts of the surface are covered with foliage springing from Renaissance vases.
