The base rim of the rotund, round shaped, white wine jug is enclosed in a pewter ring its neck is short, straight its handle is elegantly shaped. Between the middle of the vessel and its neck in a wide band framed with blue and yellow stripes a single, spiralled, dynamic, detailed ornament is found with stylised flowers, fruits, berries and leaves. The plant ornament painted with cobalt blue, yellow and green is detailed and contoured with manganese oxide. The mouth of the vessel is also encased in pewter, fastened to the handle with a small cog the pewter lid is missing.
