Shape of an equilateral triangle, with cut corners and curved sides. The plain dish has a jointed rim, and a lid of rich decoration. The high sides of the lid are applied with a cast frieze of masks, putti, animal figures and garlands of fruits. The domed lid is lined with a string of pearls, showing repousse flowers stemming from a bunch of leaves on top. The town and maker's marks are impressed on the bottom of the bowl and on the inside of the lid.
