The plinth of the prismatic chest is a corniche with a jointed rim, decorated with a lath of eggs. Each of the four sides shows an embedded, square inlay, framed by lines of leaves. The shorter sides are equipped with a handle with a lion's head. The edges are lined with floral garlands and volutes with acanthus leaves, which appear to support the protruding, jointed top. The top is bordered with a gilt lath of eggs. It can be lifted with four iron rods, sliding in tubes. The chest conceals four small drawers. There is an inscription on a paper, on the bottom of the chest: „Gefertigt bei Johann Frankh Tischler Meister in Gran 1827”. The main characteristics of the chest suggest that Empire style remained popular for a long time. The chest used to belong to the weaver's trade association of Esztergom. It has two original keys.
