The slightly widening, long glass stands on an approx. two centimetres wide, splaying foot. The foot is painted with lines in red enamel, the body with rows of spots in blue and red. These motifs are surmounted by green leaf garlands, blue ribbons, tied with red and yellow ribbons. On the front, there is the Hungarian coat of arms with the crown, helmet and feathers, painted in opaque white, red, green and yellow as the dominating colours. The helmet is surrounded by rich opaque white and red leaved ornaments. The crown is surmounted by a white bird, holding a golden hoof (?) in its beak. On the two sides of the motif, at the top, there is an inscription written in black: HUN GERN. The yellow stripes beneath the top rim enclose a red line of spots, with stylized flowers shaped of blue, yellow and red spots and leaf motifs underneath. On the two sides of the coat or arms, there is the date 15 55. The carved inscription ELSŐ MAGYAR ÜVEGGYÁR RÉSZVÉNY TÁRSASÁG BUDAPEST 1885 (The First Hungarian Glass Factory Corporation 1885). This piece follows the form and decoration of the German Renaissance humpen-type.
