The domed part of the round base is decorated with rosettes and garlands of fruit the rim of the spindle-shaped top has cartouche and garland motifs. The vase-shaped stem is chased with masks in cartouches the bowl is fluted and chased with masks. The rim of the bowl is decorated with framed foliage. The stem is supported by a 20 coin of Ferdinand V from 1847. Maker's sign VN, as yet unidentified.
