Glass picture - With fruit still life

In an oval dish in the middle of the lying oblong format there are summer fruits – pear, cherries and apple – and to the left ofthe dish a raspberry. The stylized subtly drawn composition with the succulent compact fruit forms and the sharply outlined,“constructed”, “artificial” dish shape combine into a harmonious and sensitive composition which is intensified by the cracks, stains suggesting transience. The latter is achieved with patina. The picture covered with silver leaf is outlined with acut line and enframed by a broad water clear glass band.
